Like Father Abraham (Gen 12:1-4), we have each been given a calling to hear and obey. In these modern times, we believe the people of The Most High, are being called to return to a different way of living than the nations around us (Jer 6:16). This is a call that tenderly draws us to remember back to a time when Father first allowed Adam to take dominion over the garden (Gen 2:15). Mankind has come a long way, but we serve a God that does not change (Mal 3:6). His ways are the best ways and His instructions for living cannot be improved upon with mere technology. We are grateful for modern conveniences - we don't advocate a rejection of all advancements. We are simply here to encourage those who feel drawn to remember the old ways, when life wasn't as complex and wasn't so full of distractions to our original sustenance; and also when there was no confusion about Who and What our dependence was upon. The more we utilize technology, the more we become dependent upon it. The more we equate modern conveniences with our existence, the less we fully trust and can be fully acquainted with the kind of dependence our ancestors had upon The Creator's involvement in our health and well being. It only takes little steps to adjust, but these are steps that are critical to capturing our children's minds and to protect them from being totally detached from the systems put in place by The Great I AM. Otherwise, we will succumb to the systems of captivity. I urge you to consider this and answer the call to remember your identity in Messiah Yeshua. Your identity is a precious thing and is worth pressing in to discover through The Word of God. This is why Raising Up The Remnant is.
“And if it seems evil in your eyes to serve יהוה, choose for yourselves this day whom you are going to serve, whether the mighty ones which your fathers served that were beyond the River, or the mighty ones of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But I and my house, we serve יהוה.”
